The Program: At JF&CS we understand that daily life can often times present a
complex array of challenges for older adults. Our experienced clinicians provide high
quality, personalized and professional attention. Licensed Clinical Social Workers
(LCSW’s) provide counseling and supportive services to older adults either in our
office or in the client’s own home. Services can include access to Psychiatrists who
are available for psychiatric assessment & medication management. Social Worker’s
offer treatment in a variety of areas, including, but not limited to: family relationships,
grief and loss, relocation adjustment, depression, coping with an illness or disability
or difficulties with daily living. Oftentimes, Medicare can be billed for these services.
Who We Are: All of our Social Workers are employees of Jewish Family & Career
Services and are licensed to practice Social Work in the state of Georgia.
Additionally, our Social Workers receive ongoing continuing education on topics
related to Older Adult issues. Each Social Worker has hands-on experience in
providing supportive counseling for older adults.
Who is Eligible: Adults 60 years and older.
