The Tools for Families Center works with families and children to enable them to thrive in their emotional, social, and academic development.This mission is accomplished through counseling, education, advocacy, and community involvement designed to nurture psychosocial needs of children, adolescents and their families.
Today’s children and teens face many challenges – at home, at school and with friends.Poor school performances, temper tantrums, social difficulties, sadness, worrying,eating disorders, lack of confidence—these are all behaviors that children show us when they are in need of some extra help.
Tools For Families provides assistance to children and their families so they can successfully meet these challenges. A multi-disciplinary team of talented, dedicated professionals, specially trained to work with children and their families, offers the following services:
- Child and Family Therapy
- Parent Education
- Psychological Evaluation
- Psychiatric Consultation
- Medication Monitoring
- Community Education and Outreach
- School Consultation
- Support Groups
