Mission of Service: To provide respite support to families who have children with
developmental disabilities living at home. Services are available for families with
children ages 3 and up.
Description of Program: The family of a person with a disability often has increased
responsibilities as well as increased stress in their lives. The Respite program is
designed to provide a temporary break in the day-to-day care of a family member with
a developmental disability. Respite care services offered are:
In-Home Respite Care – a caregiver comes to your home.
Host-Family Respite Care – your loved one is cared for at the caregiver’s home.
Population Served: Children, adolescents and adults with developmental
disabilities ages 3 and up.
