Embracing Imperfection: T’Shuvah* as Judaism’s Antidote to Perfectionism (Sunday, Jan 31, 2016 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm)

“You don't have to be an addict to be in recovery"

Location: Congregation B'nai Torah (700 Mount Vernon Highway, Sandy Springs, GA  30328)

About Guest Speaker:  Rabbi Mark Borovitz
Ordained 15 years ago at the University of Judaism, Rabbi Mark Borovitz serves as Senior Rabbi and CEO of Beit T’Shuvah. His commitment to the idea that for everyone — especially the addict — feeling “you matter” and “you belong” in a community are at the heart of recovery, not just from active addiction but the recovery of your own holy soul.

* T’Shuvah (repentance and return) enables us not only to amend the negativity created by our past actions; it requires us to find a new response to life based upon the learning we have gained from the ways in which we have “missed the mark.”
